National Account Manager

Position Summary

Responsible for executing a strategic marketing plan for assigned accounts and/or territories, including prospecting, presenting, negotiating and completing the sales cycle. Responsible for assigned revenue targets and incremental growth milestones. Assist in identification and development of new initiatives, strategies, and product/service enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years business to business sales experience, preferably in health care.
  • Excellent consultative communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to assess potential prospects, propose effective solutions, and utilize strong negotiation skills to complete the sales cycle.
  • Proven track record of relationship driven sales success.
  • Strong knowledge of technology supported by company.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with a variety of information technology and long-term care industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational ability, cross-group collaboration, and executive presence.
  • Travel to prospect, client, and industry conferences as required, estimated 30-50%

Essential Functions

  • Execute short and long term strategic marketing plan
  • Recommend product and/or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential
  • Responsible for strengthening company’s image, brand, and positioning in the marketplace
  • Stay informed of changes in the marketplace to best meet the objectives and financial goals of the company
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials
  • Effectively utilize sales lead and reporting tools
